Where The Little Bumble Bee Roams...

Let's just say I have never been a big fan of bugs, in fact I run every time I see one. However, these little bugs, I was drawn to them, kind of like a moth to a candle flame. You see these little bugs don't bite, don't sting nor do they buzz around you head all day. These are more of the shimmering diamond type of bug.

Jack Barouh, the owner of Michele watches, in a collaboration with his wife have created a little bit of serenity in their Garden Party Collection. It focuses on three common bugs {the ladybug, bumble bee and the snail} to help bring this serene afternoon to life. The watches are crafted elegantly utilizing diamonds and enamel to paint the picture of a quiet afternoon in the garden while an alligator wristband holds it all together. However, this is a limited edition series and will be around for only a short time.

If I were to talk to some psychiatrist, she {or he} would probably tell me that I have some type of issue with commitment which is why I can't commit to a certain hair color and sticking to it. Ever since my mother allowed me to get my hair dyed in high school, I have never stopped. I have just about every shade you can think of, with the exception of red {I refuse to go there, nah-uh}. Considering it's spring and the perfect time to reinvent oneself, I'm thinking of a totally new hair color. I could choose to stay at my present shade {a combination of blonds and browns that look similar to Beyonce} or I could go for the pure brunette again. But for the most part I am thinking that I will just go black, midnight black to be precise. My only concern it that I will come out looking completely washed out and like Elvira... Hmmm... Does anyone have any suggestions? Opinions? Comments?

WTF!?!?! Of The Day: Fahreal? Heidi Outselling Posh

Here at The F*Word, we see a lot of things. Some totally unbelievable {like LC's clothing line}, some utterly wonderful {see new Louboutins}, and some that just make us scratch our head in confusion and utter disbelief {let's try Keith Richards for Louis Vuitton}. But just when we thought it was safe to breathe a sigh of relief after the whole Miley Cyrus issue, we come across reports like these, that allege Heidi's trashy line is out selling Posh's crappy line {seriously, who would buy this stuff}.

Apparently, Heidiwood has sold out at Kitson's Robertson Blvd location, while Posh's dVb line has been placed on the sale rack at Loehmann's for a mere $69, that's about 75% off of the original $250 price tag. But thankfully as of late all of dVb on sale racks at Loehmann's has finally sold out {Geeze, just think, it only took 9 months to do so}.

Butterfly Monocles - Uma Thurman for Another Magazine

Actress Uma Thurman was recently featured in an editorial spread as well as in an interviewed by Another Magazine. I love photography by Craig McDean, particularly the butterfly motif as a symbol of rebirth symbol. The way McDean featured it as an imitation monocle is quite beautiful.
The theme, and title, of the feature is “Uma, Taking Risks.” The 38-year-old actress has established herself well in Hollywood, having staring roles in movies like Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill: Vol 1 and 2 and The Producers under her belt.
