A woman's scent can be enchanting, mysterious, light, sensual, most of all, you want it to be memorable. The following scent is all of this and more. "Daisy" which is by Marc Jacobs is in a word extraordinary. It has been described as fruity/floral and I think it's really more like gardenias. The description of the fragrance is "happy and youthful." It's fragrance tells my senses tell that it's light, not overpowering, sophisticated and fresh. I would definitely restrict this to daytime wear. If you haven't had a chance to smell this one yet you're in for a treat. Of course perfume is a matter of personal choice however, this one rarely disappoints. It's available at Macy's, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, and of course Marc Jacobs.

Another Neat Place
When I was telling you about my favorite places to shop (via catalog) I forgot to tell you about Anthropologie. It's a treasure trove of great fashion and style. Anthropologie's clothing line is unique and you may just want to check out their selections for the home too. Overall they have got some really gorgeous things for spring. Their "Juanty Jackie" at left, is just a sample of the really good looks you'll find.
"All your life you are told the things you cannot do. All your life they will say you're not good enough or strong enough or talented enough; they will say you're the wrong height or the wrong weight or the wrong type to play this or be this or achieve this. THEY WILL TELL YOU NO, a thousand times no, until all the no's become meaningless. All your life they will tell you no, quite firmly and very quickly.AND YOU WILL TELL THEM YES."

Ok seriously, forget about my terrible crack at poetry. I just cant describe how in love I am with Escada and their selections right now. The main reason for my admiration is all of the clothes are simply perfect. The colors, designs and sophistication. Im not going to deny that it will cost you a small fortune to own some of these pieces. So as soon as I stumble across that large fortune I will be going to beat down the doors of Escada's flaship store.

Abbey Dawn
Latest from the fashion forefront tells me that pop-rock star Avril Lavigne is preparing for the launch of her own clothing line. The clothing line named "Abbey Dawn," which was named after a childhood nickname given to Avril, will be featured at Kohl's Department stores and debuts in July. Clothing items range from $22 to $49. "I actually am the designer," she told reporters at Newsweek for editions that will be available on Monday. "I [will] try everything on and approve it all." Lavigne says that the clothing line will be Rock-Glam, "young, fun, edgy and edgy." She plans to wear the line during her Best Damn Tour, which kicked off this month in British Columbia Canada. I guess the tidbit about her designing, fitting and approving makes her different from all of the other celebs-turned-designers. Well let's all wish Avril good luck on her clothing line.
