On The Campaign Trail is a new feature that The F*Word is launching in order to bring various ad campaigns from all over the world to your desktop/ laptop. In this special series, we will bring you campaigns from both recognized, unrecognized names and names that you will surely not forget. As we all know, fashion is not a superficial word. It is as complex as the inner emotions of one human being, hence why it is important to capture the full range of facets that fashion itself encompasses.
As our first ad campaign feature, we would like to bring you Tom Ford S/S 2008.

Alas, the ball is over and the winners have been announced for the 2008 CFDA Awards, which were held last night at New York's Public Library. {see list full list below of the nights big winners} The controversial Tom Ford won menswear designer of the year, while in the accessories department, Tory Burch took home the statue instead of three time winner Marc Jacobs and five time nominees Michael Kors {is it just me or is he the next Susan Lucci, remember almost only counts in horseshoes}. Meanwhile Francisco Costa {for Calvin Klein} beat out Marc Jacobs, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough for Womenwear.
In grand style, as always, the CFDA paid homage to legendary couturier Yves Saint Laurent, who succumbed to brain cancer in his home early Sunday morning. Among last nights attendees Ashley Olsen looked stunning in a a smoking suit- reminiscent of YSL's creations- from Calvin Klein's 2008 resort collection and CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg had some of her own private YSL collection flown to her from her home overseas just to wear her black vintage YSL jacket. With Naomi Campbell sporting a few items form the most recent YSL collection, we all know that while he was not in physical attendance this year, he was defiantly sitting there in spirit.

Father's Day is coming up and quiet as it's kept I'm totally clueless. First I think, maybe the neat little sets that are in the stores now. Why not? They are smart---those department stores, they know I need help! Maybe I'll go look at some some men's wear, maybe I'll go look in Home Depot or Lowe's, maybe cash, a gas card, as you can see I don't even have half a clue. I'll just keep on shopping until I find that thing that I know is it! Men's Eau de Toilette
"Today, I believe men think differently about style. They appreciate luxury and simplicity, and want to be comfortable. They strive to be powerful and sexy, which is the philosophy I used to create my first fragrance. Michael is a luxurious scent that will appeal to men, and the women in their lives," explains Michael Kors. The key note, classic patchouli, is reinvented with mysterious touches of suede, smoke, and spices. The oriental fragrance blends:• A fresh, aromatic top note of zesty bergamot and spicy undertones of warm cinnamon, exotic cardamom, and star anise. • A modern middle note built around rich pipe tobacco. This masculine scent is further enriched with notes of supple suede.• The soul of the fragrance, patchouli, lingers in the bottom note. Complemented by dried fruits, such as dark plump plums.
Father's Day Tom Ford for Men Set
A sophisticated scent perfect for the modern man.Set includes:• Tom Ford for Men: A luxurious fragrance that is both elegant and modern. A reflection of the designer himself, it was created to appeal to men who are refined, seductive and sophisticated. By combining traditional elements with modern influences, the sculpted wood fragrance is textural, nuanced and very sensual. 50 milliliters.• Tom Ford for Men Hydrating Shower Gel: This unique high-performance gel-oil formula delivers multiple benefits—the gel lathers and cleansers thoroughly while oil smoothes and traps the body's natural moisture after rinsing. 75 milliliters.Arrives in a black box with gold trim.
