Tom Ford Is More Than Hot!

In response to my colleague, Lexie, TOM FORD IS MORE THAN HOT! I would like to thank Tom Ford for waking the collective consciousness of women everywhere. Thank you Mr. Ford for just teaching us how to BE IN THE MOMENT. We as women have realized that we are ONE WITH EVERYTHING ON THIS ENTIRE PLANET. ESPECIALLY THE VERY THOUGHT OF VISUALIZING YOUR ESSENCE MR. FORD. WE DON'T MIND AT ALL, BECAUSE AS LONG AS YOU ARE, WE WILL BE ALRIGHT! WHO EVEN CARES WHAT HIS SEXUAL ORIENTATION IS, ARE YOU SERIOUS? HECK I'LL BE ANYTHING HE NEEDS ME TO BE! TO SAY THAT TOM FORD IS HOT OR SEXY IS TO JUST DIMINISH WHAT HE IS.....LET'S JUST LEAVE HIM INDESCRIBABLE...OK?

It ought to be 10 laws........mercy me.........God is still making them like that!

"Who is the happiest of men? He who values the merits of others, and in their pleasure takes joy, even as though 'twere his own."--- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Lovin Life, Truth Is

Something For The Fellas

I've always wondered if men ever get sick of Tyra and all of the fuss revolving around America's Next Top Model. Well I have to wonder no more because VMAN Magazine, Ford Models and Diesel are on the search for America's Nest Top MALE Model! The winning model will be featured on the cover of the fall issue of VMAN, and will receive a contract with Ford Models. The jump-off {casting calls}, in partnership with Diesel, officially started on April 30th in New York at the Diesel store in Union Square, and will continue throughout the U.S. at 5 other Diesel stores in Dallas, Austin, Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Aspiring models will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interview with Ford talent scouts and have their picture taken. Each applicant's form will then be filed for consideration in the contest, joining the 800+ people who have already entered the search.

"We're always on the lookout for new talent and this is an excellent opportunity for aspiring models," said Ford Models CEO John Caplan. "The VMAN Model Search also allows us to bring Ford Models to the public and attract individuals that might not otherwise consider modeling. By partnering with VMAN Magazine, we've attached a prize that's impressive on even the most experienced model's resume."
Aspiring male models should pre-register at
www.fordmodels.tv. Applicants that are unable to attend in person may apply online at www.VMAN.com. Auditions are from 4:00-8:00pm at the following Diesel locations:

Rain, Rain Go Away

**(Right to Left): Coat by BB Dakota, Coat by Nelli both available at Dalaga NY

Seriously, I know the eastern seaboard has suffered from a lack of mother natures nourishment, but seriously all of the tornadoes and thunderstorms are really putting a cramp in my wardrobe. So in light of all of the rain we've been receiving, I have decided to find the best things that will help everyone stay flyy in the rain. Rain gear doesn't have to be all rubber duckies and horrendous plastic coats that we had to dress in when we were children because we were at the merciless hands of our parents that thought it was ohh so cute at the time. {evidently, I am holding in some resentment for that bright yellow coat with the boots to match} At any rate, there is no rule saying that rain and the accessories that accompany it must be boring affairs.

Tom Ford Is So Hot!!!

For the most part this article will be about Mr. Double-O Ford, but before I get to that, am I the only one that has noticed a lot of notable male designers becoming vulnerable and flaunting their newly improved physiques for various editorials? First there was Marc, when he went on the record about dropping a substantial amount of weight, shedding his old {psychotic, might we add} lover and flaunting his newly toned biceps. And now we have Tom Ford, Mr. 007 himself. {Am I the only one that wants this man to crawl into bed with me at night}I am noticing an increasing trend of top male fashion designers flaunting their own physique. In this months Prestige Hong Kong, we catch Mr. Ford in a deeply personal interview with accompanying photos taken by Jeff Burton in Fords home, which he goes on to say they are some of his favorite photographs of himself.

The expose article entitled, The Man in Full explores Ford from head to toe in editorial photos while he gets intimate about several subjects. Ford discusses memories of growing up and his fascination with fashion, his partner Richard and their plans to adopt a son, his feelings about being nominated for a Council of Fashion Designers of America Award for his own brand, his feelings about Karl Lagerfeld, his decision to leave the fashion world in 2004, his diet and workout. The article even goes as far to discuss how he doesn’t bathe for three or four days, his philosophy on mens wear, if he will ever design a suit for a woman and how he would like to dress Barack Obama for the presidency.

I wonder who's next? Valentino? Giorgio? Lagerfeld?
