Them Pesky Little Bugs!

Have you ever gone to an outdoor affair and everything was perfect but then you noticed a little red dot on your arm and you started scratching it and then you realize that you just had a perfect evening ruined by a little mosquito and all his little buddies? Ohhhh! I can't stand them! Every time I hear their little buzzing in my ear I want to do something to overkill them! And how can you have party outside in the middle of summer and not at least have something to help keep the pesky buggers away? Uuuuhhhh! So please do not subject your guest to the mosquito's or any other bugs that may be lurking in the dark. I'll leave you with a very good suggestion that will get rid of them every time. You don't have to worry about lighting torches, or anything else for that matter.

You can get it from the good folks at Mosquito Barrier. Get this or something don't just bring together a smorgish board of people and let the mosquito's feast! Names will be withheld to protect the innocent(guilty).

On The Campaign Trail: Vivienne Westwood

Dame Vivienne Westwood definitely showed out with her band of misfits for her various ad campaigns for Fall 2008. Enjoy

Nanette Lapore

Let me tell you why I love Nanette Lapore. First off she was born knowing what she wanted to do and she held on to that. It is so important for parents to listen to their children, and observe them at play, and in all situations, because this "watching" of your children will lead to what they are suppose to do in life. We should be taking our cues from children as to what it is that they want to do in life because their purposes are all different and KNOWN ONLY TO THEM. It's not for everyone to go into "the family business, or become a doctor or a lawyer." Each person has within themselves a deep knowing of the what's and the why's, when's and where's of life. Children know exactly what it is they are sent here to do and if we "conditioned adults" step aside we'd begin to see more "Genius" in society as a whole. Like Nanette's parents, I wish that more people would wake up and really start to NURTURE their children more. That being said, I applaud Nanette's parents for recognizing that it was their job to NURTURE her. I applaud Nanette for the true talent that she is. She is the kind of talent that takes your breath away because when you see it in all its fullness you know at that point in time there is truly something bigger at work here, something Divine. In an age when everyone seems to be picking a niche and sticking to it, out of this one focused mind came fragrance, clothes and shoes. I say your name, Nanette, may you continue to be blessed even more today than you were yesterday.

And there you have some of it, Nanette Lapore. I've got feeling you're going to be hearing her name so much more. And for good reason. It is so good to see someone that is as blessed naturally with talent as she is.

"Feelings of worth can flourish only in an atmosphere where individual differences are appreciated, mistakes are tolerated, communication is open, and rules are flexible - the kind of atmosphere that is found in a nurturing family."---Virginia Satir
