Going Out!!!

Dresses to go out in this season are gorgeous. If there is one thing I know and love, it's dresses. Give me a beautiful dress (or blouse) any day of the week, it's just my favorite thing to wear. I don't mind if they are colorful or not. Just as long as they are styled to the hilt and made well. For instance this royal blue dress by Robert Rodriguez is kind of whimsical, everybody can't wear it, but it's cute! This one's available at Neiman Marcus. This black number by Chloe. It is called their "Bubble Sleeve Shift Dress." It's so chic! Finally this fiery red dress is by Alice + Olivia. It's called their "Trapeeze Dress." It's available at Nordstrom's but they have very limited quantities. Be bold, be different, be modern but always be you in whatever you wear. "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." "We will not solve the problems of the world, from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them." More than anything else, this new century demands new thinking: We must change our materially based analyses of the world around us to include broader, more multidimensional perspectives."---Albert Einstein

Shopping By Text Messaging

I have to say I was wondering when this application would be a reality. Shopaholics rejoice! Let us do the dance of joy! The competition isn’t so happy but this is way, way cool. Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) (AMZN)'s brick-and-mortar competitors have yet another reason to fear the Web: a new service that lets shoppers compare prices and buy things with a few quick taps on their cell phones. Amazon TextBuyIt, which launched late Tuesday, lets people text the name of a product, its description or its UPC or ISBN to 262966 (that's "Amazon" on the keypad) from anywhere their cell phones work - including from inside physical stores. The Service returns two results at a time, where you can buy one of the first two selections by texting "1" or "2," or you can ask for more info by texting the letter "M." Enter the e-mail address you have with your Amazon account and your shipping zip code and wait for the service to call you. They walk you through the checkout process with an automated voice system. Your then get confirmation by text e-mail and as well you can view your order on line. Howard Gefen, director of Amazon mobile payments, would not directly answer when asked if the service is meant to extend Amazon's reach by poaching customers browsing at bookstores or big-box electronics retailers. "We think this is a great experience. We think they'll use the product...wherever they happen to be," he said. (apnews.myway) Now hold on everybody, it's just a matter of time before we can BUY ANYTHING WE WANT BY TEXTING. LET THE COMPETITION BEGIN!!! UUHH DUHH!!! THAT'S WHAT THE UPC (UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODE) SHOULD BE USED FOR!!! I THINK WE SAID THAT LOUD ENOUGH!!! WHOOOHOOO!!!

"Understand the magical nature of the mind is to acquire awesome power. It is to understand that at every moment of our lives, we have the power to accomplish everything we want." ~Deepak Chopra
