"The question for each man to settle is not what he would do if he had means, time, influence and educational advantages; the question is what he will do with the things he has. The moment a young man ceases to dream or to bemoan his lack of opportunities and resolutely looks his conditions in the face, and resolves to change them, he lays the corner-stone of a solid and honorable success."-Hamilton Wright Mabie

I Want Chloe... NOW!!!!!
Maybe it's because of the cool color/ pattern combo's that she uses. Maybe it's because she reminds me of Clueless meets Headbanger's Ball OR Maybe it's because when I saw the new cover for NYLON's beauty issue, out on newsstands next week, I thought back to my days in private school and my uniform skirt that looked just like the plaid Chloë Sevigny shirt. I guess that's why she's my idol, everything is so cool, hip and fresh {I forgot to mention colorful}. When I read my mag, I found out that every single item was from the respective labels of Chloë Sevigny and Chloé {sweet, no gallery searching for me}. Oh and if that's not enough for you, these three ladies will also be the new faces for the new Chloé perfume set to debut this summer. Now, how cool is that?
P.S.: Check out the History of the Derriere article in NYLON this month
My favorite quote about this: "Just to recap, that's Chloë for Chloé, with the other Chloé girls, all wearing Chloé. Try saying that five times fast."- Kendall Herbst (The Cut, New York Magazine)

The Edge Phone
Just guessing, but all you fashionita's out there are going to want this phone! The "Edge" The name has nothing to do with data speed. In fact we don’t even know what this phone is capable of because as with all fashion phones, looks rein supreme and the Edge phone makes sure you notice with its glowing glass keyboard. Designed by Chris Owens, this little sleek phone with it's glass sliding keyboard is the talk of the town. To answer an incoming call, slide the glass keyboard out. An embedded LED illuminates the etched numbers via refraction creating a glowing effect. The only visible lines is the microphone wiring which designer Chris Owens has cleverly disguised as a keyboard border. You can learn more about how this phone came into being by clicking here: http://www.ocell.net/. When you get there just click on the section that says Design Portfolio, then click Edge. But Shhhhh! Don't tell anyone, because it's not even on Nokia's website yet! You can also click on the following link for a demonstration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6539BoCeys
