Dresses to go out in this season are gorgeous. If there is one thing I know and love, it's dresses. Give me a beautiful dress (or blouse) any day of the week, it's just my favorite thing to wear. I
don't mind if they are colorful or not. Just as long as they are styled to the hilt and made well. For instance this royal blue dress by Robert Rodriguez is kind of whimsical, everybody can't wear it, but it's cute! This one's available at Neiman Marcus. This black number by Chloe. It is called their "Bubble Sleeve Shift Dress." It's so chic! Finally this fiery red dress is by Alice + Olivia. It's called their "Trapeeze Dress." It's available at Nordstrom's but they have very limited quantities. Be bold, be different, be modern but always be you in whatever you wear.
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." "We will not solve the problems of the world, from the same level of thinking we were at when we created them." More than anything else, this new century demands new thinking: We must change our materially based analyses of the world around us to include broader, more multidimensional perspectives."---Albert Einstein

I have to say I was wondering when this application would be a reality. Shopaholics rejoice! Let us do the dance of joy! The competition isn’t so happy but this is way, way cool. Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) (AMZN)'s brick-and-mortar competitors have yet another reason to fear the Web: a new service that lets shoppers compare prices and buy things with a few quick taps on their cell phones. Amazon TextBuyIt, which launched late Tuesday, lets people text the name of a product, its description or its UPC or ISBN to 262966 (that's "Amazon" on the keypad) from anywhere their cell phones work - including from inside physical stores. The Service returns two results at a time, where you can buy one of the first two selections by texting "1" or "2," or you can ask for more info by texting the letter "M." Enter the e-mail address you have with your Amazon account and your shipping zip code and wait for the service to call you. They walk you through the checkout process with an automated voice system. Your then get confirmation by text e-mail and as well you can view your order on line. Howard Gefen, director of Amazon mobile payments, would not directly answer when asked if the service is meant to extend Amazon's reach by poaching customers browsing at bookstores or big-box electronics retailers. "We think this is a great experience. We think they'll use the product...wherever they happen to be," he said. (apnews.myway) Now hold on everybody, it's just a matter of time before we can BUY ANYTHING WE WANT BY TEXTING. LET THE COMPETITION BEGIN!!! UUHH DUHH!!! THAT'S WHAT THE UPC (UNIVERSAL PRODUCT CODE) SHOULD BE USED FOR!!! I THINK WE SAID THAT LOUD ENOUGH!!! WHOOOHOOO!!!

Armani like Hugo Boss, has announced a project in which it has asked the public's help. The fashion house announced a contest in which they asked the public to design a print or video ad for Armani’s new fragrance, Get Together. The winning spot for the men and women’s fragrances will be used in the official campaign as well as earn the winner €10,000, or about $15,812. The contest site offers a look into some of the creations that have already been entered and users have the ability to vote on their favourite. A couple of them are featured in this gallery. A lot of entries look like they’re photos the photographer and his/her girlfriend/boyfriend, and why not? Having your image run in magazines would be a beautiful keepsake of your current relationship.
“For me Emporio Armani reflects a universal lifestyle, made up of energy, optimism and modernity,” Giorgio Armani says. “It’s an expression of life for today’s generation, something urban, chic and international. “‘Get Together’ … is the name I have chosen for the Emporio Armani fragrances. Opposites attract: men-women, positive-negative but different. Together but with respect for their individuality.” The designer added, “I would li
ke this urban chic and international. “‘Get Together’ … is the name I have chosen for the Emporio Armani fragrances. Opposites attract: men-women, positive-negative but different. Together but with respect for their individuality.” The designer added, “I would like this urban message to be interpreted by you. I am offering you the challenge of creating my next Emporio Armani Classic advertising campaign.” User-generated commercials are a very modern, clever form of marketing that gets users engaged with the brand directly. Often, in order to participate in the contest, the entrants must actually buy the product. Furthermore, it costs the company next to nothing, saving millions of dollars in advertising costs, while engaging customers at a level no commercial created by an ad agency could.

Kate Hudson is widely known for her natural ways, from her boho style of dressing to the environmental causes she supports. Most recently she’s supported WildAid in a project
which saw her team with her long time hair stylist, David Babaii, to launch an eco-friendly haircare line. Hudson will donate 10 per cent of the proceeds to the foundation which aims to end the illegal trade of wild animals. In the African photo shoot for the ad campaign, shot by Peter Lindbergh, the young starlet posed with exotic animals like cheetahs and lion cubs.
“I really have a thing about natural product,” she said. “It’s very difficult to make things that are completely organic and sustainable. David and I got so excited about making something like that. Making something conscious and making it good.” “We have a blast together,” she said of her stylist. “I’m just lucky to have him as my companion while I travel and work.” Kate, who is Goldie Hawn’s daughter, said her favourite animal to work with was the cheetah. “He was purring,” she said. “I remember listening to it and [asking], ‘Should I be running right now because his purr sounds more like a growl?’ But they’re like, ‘No. H
e’s just super happy.’ And I got really comfortable with it. And I would literally lay on the cheetah. It was really pretty cool.” She liked the lions too though. “Even though they’re babies, they are lions. They were very sweet. I would put them on their back and rub their tummy. And they would love it!”

Louis Vuitton has teamed with fashion photographer Annie Liebowitz to create a series of new ads, the latest of which features Keith Richards. I was very curious about this commercial. The ad, created by Ogilvy & Mather, was launched on January 31, 2008. It features the Rolling Stone strumming on his guitar in a posh New York City hotel. By his side is a hard cased, rectangular suitcase with the iconic Louis Vuitton pattern and classic color scheme. At the bottom of the photo is a tagline which reads, “Some journeys cannot be put into words.” This is the same slogan
featured in the other ads in the series. One featured Mikhail Gorbachevin looking disturbed in the back of a cab in Germany, as he looked out the window at the Berlin Wall featured in the background. Next to him on the seat was an LV duffel bag. In another ad, French actress Catherine Deneuve is seen sprawled out at a train station, relaxing with her luxury LV luggage.
Tennis champions Andre Agassi and his wife Steffi Graf appeared in another ad where they were cozied up in a hotel, the luggage again a key part of the feature. Louis Vuitton has a video feature of the two on their website as part of the Journeys campaign which can be seen here. Louis Vuitton offered several celebrities the opportunity to appear in their ads, but not all jumped at the chance including Nelson Mandela and Bill Clinton. Natalie Portman also declined because she is opposed to Louis Vuitton’s use of animal products; the actress adamantly refuses to to wear leather.

Ladies and Gents, listen up! Just in case you haven't heard about this I'm here to tell you about it again. We all want to make sure we've got it all together in the places that count. That's why having a "Suddenly Slender Body Wrap" will come in more than handy. You can look 10 - 30 inches slimmer in an HOUR! (no jokes) It's a safe, and all-natural treatment that melts away inches from thighs, stomachs, hips and waistlines, removes cellulite, and flushes a lifelong accumulation of health-threatening toxins out of the Body. How does it work? Let's take a look at how our bodies respond to the presence of wastes at the cellular level. Special liquids (called lymphatic fluids) surround every cell in our bodies. These fluids bathe and protect the cells, bringing them nourishment and carrying away their waste products. When too many environmental poisons enter the body, the body automatically increases the volume of fluid surrounding the cells as it attempts to dilute them. This increase in fluid around the cells causes areas of our bodies to gradually "swell up" or become "puffy". Our waistlines increase. Cellulite appears. Often as we see our body "growing" our reaction is to restrict our diets or start strenuous exercise programs. But, all too often, strict diet and strenuous exercise will not reduce certain areas where the waste products (toxins) have accumulated. This is why the Suddenly Slender Body Wrap is so effective; it flushes out the toxins surrounding the cells and thereby eliminates the need for increased fluid levels throughout the entire body. During the 60-minute procedure, your body is bathed in a special mineral solution, which is quickly absorbed through the skin. This mineral solution not only nourishes the body; it flushes out the accumulated waste fluids stored between the cells. Your body literally shrinks. And because the toxins are gone, the body has no need to again "increase fluid levels". The reduction is permanent as long as you don't gain weight. Even selected parts of the body can be reduced or contoured. Chins, upper arms, thighs, anywhere a slimming effect is desired. Needless to say, clients are not only thrilled by the ease by which the body can be reshaped, but they also rave about how they feel after their wraps; Slimmer! Lighter! Refreshed! Trust me this is one tip you should take!

A couple of years ago, there was this really cute purse that I wanted called the Peace Keeper. Mainly because it had a pair of brass knuckles made into it as a handle. {perfect thing to have when running into an ex, btw} Then I read a story about this umbrella called the "Umbuster." It's a cute little umbrella with a handle that is made into, you guessed it, brass knuckles. This got me to thinking about all of the artistic creations that involve the coveted weapon. As I saw, the choices never stopped. I must tell you now, It's Becoming A Trend!!!!! Good thing is, now you don't need to take all those expensive self defense classes. Trust me, if someone sees you in this much brass, they'll walk the other way.
