Gossip Girl: Women On The Verge
When we catch up with everyone again, we see Nate and Chuck in what seems to be an uncomfortable elevator ride up to Blair's apartment in which her maid tells them to wait right there for Blair and that she is on her way. When Blair arrives, she tells the boys that she is going to need their help and we pan over to the elevator to see a drunken Serena on the floor of the elevator looking dazed and near death. Nate and Chuck help Blair get her out of the elevator and upstairs to get Serena cleaned up. Then we catch up with Dan who arrives at Lily's door step trying to figure out what the big secret is and where is Serena when Lily tells him that Chuck just left to go pick her up from Blair's. Then we head back over to Blair's when Dan arrives and is looking for Serena while everyone is madly trying to keep him away from her, as to protect the both of them. When Serena hears the commotion she comes down the stairs and talks to Dan, she tells him that she went out last night and had slept with someone else. Then Dan, looking devastated says that he is done and leaves. After he leaves, Blair, Chuck and Nate ask Serena did she actually cheat on him and she confesses that she didn't but she'd rather lie to him that tell him the truth. The three beg Serena to tell them what is going on.As They all sit in Blair's living room, Serena begins to tell the story and Lily begins to feverishly look for what Serena is hiding in her bedroom. Serena begins to tell them about what she's been hiding. It all goes back to the night of a friends wedding. Serena retells the story line as it intertwines with the night that Serena and Nate slept together. Serena says, "She felt so guilty about sleeping with Nate that she immediately left and since she had to made plans to meet with Georgina, that she hurried to get there." Serena also tells that she didn't know that Georgina was videotaping her in the form of a sex tape. When Serena arrived at the hotel room, She crawled into bed and sat upset about what she had did with Nate while Georgina tried to convince her to make a move on the guy in the room. Serena just wasn't up for the task so she told the guy to do some lines of coke so that maybe she could loosen up and in the process of him doing the line, he suffered from an overdose. Serena wanted to call the police and an ambulance but Georgina told her not to. So the both of them grabbed their things and got out of the hotel. Serena said she watch from across the street to make sure everything was ok, when she saw them bring out a body bag from the hotel. And that Georgina had the whole thing on tape and this is what she has been blackmailing her with. Serena also told the bunch that this is why Georgina came back, but at first she said that she wanted to be friends and now she has befriended Vanessa and Dan and that she calls herself Sarah when she is with them.
Meanwhile, Lily had only gotten halfway through the tape before she turned it off. But we rejoin Lily at her dinner rehearsal when she informs Serena that she thought that she had changed but she would be sending her away to boarding school again. Blair shortly interjects afterward and tells Lily that Serena is in a lot of pain and harboring a big secret. Lily decides to cut out of her dinner early to help Serena. We then see Nate, Blair and Chuck still at the rehearsal dinner when Nate gets a call from Vanessa saying that she, Dan and Sarah are at the concert waiting on him. Then Nate makes the connection and fills Vanessa in as much as he can about Sarah/ Georgina's true identity. After Nate hangs up from Vanessa, he goes to tell Blair and Chuck and they all decide that they will go to the concert to confront her. Meanwhile, Vanessa has already decided confront Georgina about her lies and realizing that she was somewhat busted, she rushed off to think of another lie.
Later we rejoin Lily taking Serena to the Upper West Side to see where the boy that died grew up. Lily told her to go inside and talk to them. Serena of course, seemed undoubtedly squeamish, but Lily told her that she would be there every step of the way. Then we rejoin Blair, Nate and Chuck arriving at the concert to meet Vanessa. Blair and Chuck are wondering where Georgina and Dan are. We then see Georgina crying right outside of the auditorium where Dan finds her and he talks to her about whats going on. Georgina tells him that Sarah is a name she made up because she was dodging her psycho ex boyfriend {yea, right}. Dan sympathizes with her and she tells him that she has liked him since the day she met him and then Dan offers up an opportunity for them to leave the concert and talk more privately.
Then we rejoin Serena and her mother outside of the brownstone where Serena went to tell the boys parents about the incident. Then Serena asked her mother if it were possible if she could drop her off at the concert. When they get there she immediately goes to look for Dan so she can tell him everything. Meanwhile, Lily walks out to see if she can see Rufus performing. Later as Serena and Blair look for Dan, she gets a call from Dan's phone but its Georgina. She tells Serena that now she plans to make a move on Dan and leave the call connected so Serena can hear everything she says to him. Finally we end things with Rufus running off stage after his performance to try and catch Lily. Once catching up to her, Rufus kisses Lily and we somehow know that this is going to make next weeks season finale a must see.Posted by Lexie H at 8:45 AM 0 comments

Gossip Girl: All About My Brother
Later on, we join Vanessa and Dan in Brooklyn at the cafe hanging out with their newly coined BFF Sara {aka Georgina/ Georgie}, who confesses that she can't wait until Dan and Vanessa introduce her to Serena. Meanwhile, Rufus and Lily are out shopping for Lily's upcoming nuptials to Bart Bass. But back at Casa de Humphrey a little later, Dan tries to talk to Jenny about what he saw Asher doing earlier in the day, but being young and impresionable has is disadvantages, Jenny gets made a belittles Dan telling him that Asher is everything that he has ever wanted to be, which is rich, handsome and cultured. Next day, mildy upset and desperate to reach Jenny before she does something that the will regret, he bumps into Blair who asks him something about Asher, but Blair informs him that by their world essentially revoling around Gossip Girl and their friends, that might be the best way to get to her. So Dan decides to tip his own sister off through means of GG.
After the tip to GG, we find Jenny in the halls of Constance Billard waking with her friends as soon as the tip comes in and the girls question Jenny about Asher. She quickly replies, "we went to third base, well I didn't he did." We finally catch back up with Serena who is getting ready to have a quiet dinner with their mother and brother when none other than Georgina shows up to crash the party. While at dinner Georgina just so happens to out the younger van der Woodsen, Eric about his homosexual frolicking. Lily clearly shocked and Serena on the brink of rage and sadness quickly goes to comfort him and asks why didn't he tell her. While everything is unfolding there Rufus catches Jenny in a lie about where she will be going later on in the week, while she's told him she is scheduled to go to choir practice during the time of her scheduled party. Meanwhile, Serena gets home to open a package that she has been alerted about. When she opens the packs, its a videotape inside and its from the night that Georgina drugged her. Mortified by what she's seen, she quickly hides the tape. Then a little later, Jenny is busy at Asher's place. While there Jenny tries to make a move on him and he declines. However, it becomes clear that Jenny knew all along that Asher was gay and that they were both indeed using each other for a certain status symbol. Asher offers her money and status within the most prominent cliques in the city as long as she continues to help him keep his homosexuality under wraps.
On the night of the party as Jenny gets ready to leave, Rufus, her dad, stops her and tells her that she can't go to the party and that she's going to have to cancel it. She shortly then walks out in order to be on time for the evenings events. Meanwhile, we catch Serena, Dan and Vanessa hanging out in a restaurant waiting for Sara to show up. Once she gets they're Serena realizes that its no one other than Georgina who's going by the alias. They have a few words and Georgina threatens to show the tape that she made of Serena to Dan and Vanessa. She blackmails Serena into pretending that they are friends so that she can continue to keep Dan in the dark about her secret, whatever it may be. As they're leaving Serena warns Dan no to trust her, but Dan gets mad and tells her that maybe she should just go home. Over at Jenny and Asher's party, we see Jenny trying to entertain guests while cuddling with Asher in order to keep everything together when Blair crashes the party and shows up with another guest, Eric van der Woodsen. Eric immediately goes to confront Asher about the fact that he's gay and in doing so comes out to everyone at the party. Asher denies it and calls Eric a faggot. Then Blair tells Jenny and Asher that she could ruin the both of them, but wont do it because of her loyalty to Eric, but Eric gives her the word to send the tip to GG about Jenny's little gay boyfriend. In doing so, her friends ask her what really happened and the truth comes out and they tell Jenny that they no longer want to be friends with her.
Winding down from the nights affairs, a broken Jenny shows up at Blair's house to tell her that she has won and she's done with the whole thing. Feeling defeated Jenny returns home and breaks down. The next day, Serena shows up at Blair's and breaks down {boy, Blair just stays busy}. She starts crying and telling Blair that she has a secret and thats why she hasn't been around lately. But she doesn't want to tell her because she doesn't want to get her involved. Eventually Serena cracks from carrying around such a secret and tells Blair that she killed someone.

Gossip Girl: Desperately Seeking Serena
**Photo courtesy of CWtv.com: Jenny's new toyAfter being ousted from the group for the week, Jenny speaking with another minion decides that she needs a king to put her back on top of the carbon food chain that is their existence and its upon her mulling this thought over she runs into a handsome teenager walking dogs. But, Jenny quickly dismisses him as a loyal servant as he introduces himself as Asher and tells her to give him a call. {Now, can someone remind me when Jenny became too good to date a dog walker, oh yea, when she stole the couture Valentino dress} Then we quickly shoot out to Brooklyn where Vanessa is helping Dan study for the SAT. Nate just so happens to walk in and offers up some of his study material to Dan and Vanessa obligingly scourges him.
Meanwhile Serena promised Dan that she would meet him in Brooklyn
for a play study date. However she's actually at the bar with Georgina knocking
down cosmo's when things turn sour because Georgie {as she is affectionately called} asks her to take something right before they dance with two barflys.
Serena gets unnerved by this, I guess remembering party's past, and goes off in
the back to call her beloved soon to be step-bro Chuck for help {do I smell an ugly alliance brewing}. Chuck agrees to help and calls Dan to inform him that Serena will not be able to make their study date due to food poisoning {I've had that before and it sucks, not something to play with}. But Dan can smell Chuck's devils brew from a mile away.
The next day back at Constance Prep, Dan immediately confronts Chuck and tells him to leave Serena alone. Just as things look tense Serena shows and busted... In a little white lie that is quickly retracted when Chuck and Serena can't get a migraine and food poisoning right. Always the good girl with the mean streak, Blair and
the three drawers go full steam with their plan to find something to use to
knock uber student Nelly Yuki off her pedestal. Breeze past to lunch hours and we Jenny sees her dog walker again, this time handing his dogs off to the actual walker. And Jenny decides that Asher Hornsby, who attend Utica, is precisely the prince she needs to squash Blair under her foot. Back in Brooklyn we see Vanessa and Nate
having a cup of coffee after he's returned visiting with his dad at the rehab center. Vanessa tells Nate that she was moved by his essay about "being trapped in between two parents." And then just as we get settled into the idea that Nate might like Vanessa, Georgie gives Serena a real life multiple choice question.
We cut to Jenny and Dan in Brooklyn at the Casa de Humphrey. Dan studying while worrying about Serena. Then their dad walks in and surprises
Jenny with a new sewing machine but tells her that she is still grounded and can't
spend time with the tall mysterio Asher tomorrow for lunch. It's here that we are wondering where in the world is Serena... Then we catch Blair and the
three drawves again with Nelly Yuki having a girls night in with smoothies and
masseuses. B somehow has befriended Nelly and ironically her ex comes by and want to
talk with her {suprimo timing B}. Finally we see Georgie and Serena out for dinner and talking. Georgie seemingly interested in Dan and Serena's new life asks to hear all about it. Then we splice over to Nate and Vanessa walking through Brooklyn talking. When Nate and Vanessa arrive at the boutique where she goes to get her notebook, Nate decides to go for it and kiss her {things just got tougher for B}. We then go back to Serena stepping away from the table to call Dan when Georgie slips a clear substance in Serena's diet coke.
The morning of the SAT, Serena wakes up in Georgie's apartment not having a clue about the previous nights actions. Serena is of course suspicious that something is a miff, but yet she continues to head for the door so she can make it to SAT. But on her way out she calls Chuck to ask him to hold the door for her. At the SAT site, Blair runs into Nelly looking like she hasn't slept in days. And she informs Blair that her and Tom, the bf, fought all night about the same thing and they still haven't reunited. She drops her calculator and then Blair reveals upon Nelly leaving that she took the batteries out of her calculator. Therefore sabotaging her shot at good SAT scores. Next We Dan and Blair, both in line for seating are wondering where is Serena and Dan stumbling upon a redhead saying that she was Serena. Somehow in the midst of all of this drama, we cut to Nate outside of Vanessa's job at the coffeehouse in Brooklyn. He tells her that he wants to take her somewhere. After she mulls about it for a second she decides to get in and he takes her to where the SAT is at. He tells her that he is sure that her parents aren't going to get mad about her following here own path and convinces her to go inside with the other students and take the SAT.
While everyone is at the SAT, Jenny and talking and he's still being a hardass about Jenny seeing Asher. Then we scoot back over to the SAT's where Dan and Blair catch Nate and Vanessa talking right after the SAT. Later on, Dan shows up at Chucks
apartment to talk to Serena. Desperately trying to reach his girlfriend. Dan
then tells Serena that he knows that she paid some redhead to take the SAT for
her. Serena looks at Chuck and tells him that he took it too far. Serena
promises him that she will call him later and tell him all about it. {you know things are bad when even Chuck gets suspicious}Chuck asks Serena what did she do that was so bad that she can't even tell him. Serena leaves Chuck's place and shows up at Georgie's place telling her to stay out of her life. In between that Georgie starts muttering something about last year and how Serena "was there just like her when he walked in on..." And then they both agree to stay out of each other lives. Then we see Dan sitting on the bench in the park looking a out at the water. When all of a
sudden a ball comes in his direction along with a beautiful golden retriever and Georgie following the dog and introducing herself to Dan under the name Sara. Meanwhile in Brooklyn, Ahser shows up at her door with a bag if hot dogs. He said well since she couldn't come to them that he would bring them to her. While Rufus is
sitting in the door looking at all of this Ahser says that he wishes more of
his friends parents would punish them when they are out of line. And then Rufus tells him to come on in....

OMFG!!!! Gossip Girl
Spotted: Highly risque promotional editorials featuring Manhattans finest group of teens from the Upper East Side in the heat of a passionate moment. Don't let your parents get a hold of this one...
xoxo Gossip Girl
Seriously, I've always wanted to do that. {Kristen Bell, I'm coming for you} Getting to the point of things, the CW Network has recently started running a print campaign, as well as televised, in anticipation of the coveted show's return on April 21st. The OMFG {Oh My F**king God} is the R-rated version and is currently running in Us Weekly magazine.
However, don't fret, one of the TV campaigns are PG-13 and say OMG, rather than OMFG. {same meaning, just remove the f**king} While the alternate coincides with the print OMFG ads and focuses on the most intimate details. See it here.
The CW network has issued a statement in anticipation of a possible backlash:
“We wanted to create a provocative campaign that stands out from the competition and reminds viewers of some of the OMG moments that have made ‘Gossip Girl’ one of the most buzzed about new shows on television. This sexy, sophisticated campaign speaks directly to our adult 18-34 viewers, using expressions that are part of their lexicon.”
