In About An Hour...

The Gucci Resort 2009 show will take place, live via webcast. Are you ready? {Click picture to enter the show}. If you log in before 1:30pm you can watch the preparations for the show which is taking place at 8pm in Villa Aurelia, Rome.

Wanna Go To A Gucci Show?

On Tuesday July 8th @ 2:00pm edt, Gucci will be holding a live simulcast of their Resort show via world wide web. So grab your Yoplait Key Lime Pie yogurt and log on Gucci's Website for your own exclusive front row seat. The reason for the webcast is in honor of Gucci's 70th anniversary in Condotti Rome.

Down With Zac From The Jump

For those who know me on a personal basis also understand that there are five men in the world of fashion that I would sell my family on the black market for. Those men are Tom Ford, Giambattista Valli, Christian Louboutin, Elie Saab and ZAC POSEN. His Resort 2009 collection kept me on the edge of my seat and lets me know that this man will NEVER be a one hit wonder. Posen showed off a 150 piece collection that showcased his wide range of talent {it also proved that his little butt lives inside my brain}. Posen showed everything from Grecian style dresses to pretty & petite florals all of them encompassing the ever changing style of a woman. Posen also noted that the set of pinned-together cottons was for the girls that go to the country club and listen to Bow Wow on their iPods.

Who's My Sexy Bon-Bon? McQueen Is My Sexy Bon-Bon!

As we all know Men's Fashion Week is taking place as we speak and how befitting that Alexander McQueen show his resort 2009 and spring 2009 menswear collections hand in hand. I guess the devil is truly in the details and Alexander gave us just that this past weekend in Milan. McQueen created chiffon dresses that were dotted with koi and hummingbird detailing. He sent an all-in-one tux down the runway in addition to a beaded number that reminded you of a second skin dress from your favorite Hollywood movies of the 40's and 50's. My fave of the collection though had to be the form fitting black and white side striped tux dress. I never wanted to wear a set of shoulder pads more in my life.

Facchinetti's Quintessential Woman

Alessandra Facchinetti has produced two remarkable collections since taking the helm of Valentino after his retirement. And her third collection, which happened to be resort, was definitely reflective that she will continue to "amaze" us for many more seasons to come. Facchinetti's resort collection embodied the quintessential woman. I am a pants person, so quite naturally I was in love with the pearl gray high waisted trouser matched with periwinkle dress blouse. But every article is a new genius piece of artwork. If I were a teacher, I would give Alessandra a star and smiley face sticker.
