Favorites Of The Day

We're just going to make sure we are ready for the summer and the resort season by getting this hat or one made just like it. I can see my daughter now....asking to borrow it (she means she wants it) It's ok though, we're blessed in that we can go to a special millinery if Vivre should happen to run out of hats!

Kokin
"Hollywood Sun Hat"
Available at Vivre

I got so excited when I first laid eyes on this shoe on a model weeks ago. I did not however, know that they'd be producing it in a number of colors. So far I'm crazy about the tan ones and the black ones.
Balenciaga
"Thong Gladiator Sandal"
Available at Barney's

This little shrug is just too cute. Could not even go by it without saying something about it.

Favorites Of The Day

This bag is classic, practical and stylish. What I like about is on the inside. Not only is it well made but it's got a lot going on for it in terms of utility. This is an example of a company that got it right. DKNY, who would have thought it!

DKNY
"Vintage Leather Large Shopper"
Available at DKNY

I love hats. Don't ask me why I just love them. Here's a smart little hat by Coach. I'm starting to believe that Coach looks at the whole picture when dressing a woman.

Coach
"Graffiti Monika Tattersall Hat"
Available at Coach

Oh she is so on time with this jumpsuit. Straight out of the early 70's brought up to the here and now. I heart this jumpsuit!

Stella McCartney
"Halter Charmuse Jumpsuit"
Available at Bergdorf Goodman

Favorites Of The Day

I like this little coat, based on style alone. However it is on sale!

Stella McCartney
Over sized Belted Coat

This dress is simply beautiful on. Don't let it fool you! This is one of those pieces you don't fully appreciate until you see it up close and personal.

Anthropologie
Long Look Coat Dress
Available at Anthropologie

Now this bootie has got a "vintage" feel to it. From the narrow lace up ankle to the detailing on the heel. Cute boot!

Let me show you 3 of my absolute favorites things of the day.

I have been eyeing this bag for a while now. I probably took a liking to it because it has bows and ribbons! At any rate I think Juicy Couture got a little winner here.Velour DayDreamer Tote

Stella McCartney

Miu Miu Cross Belted Knee Boot

Just 3 of my f-a-v-o-r-i-t-e things, for today, of course. Tomorrow it will be something else. Fall has got to be the one season when there is just so much to choose from! Enjoy!

Garden Parties w/ McCartney

**Three models and McCartney pictured center in a black blazer from her collection
,
For her most recent resort show, McCartney held a garden party showing at West Village's Jefferson Market Garden. And to this ultra rare event she invited the likes of Lola Schnabel, Jeff Koons as well as others. Gingham picnic blankets and large retro swirl lollipops accompanied the models that modeled the looks of McCartney's 2009 resort collection. Her collection doesn't disappoint and I like every single article. From her signature T-shirt dresses all the way to her incredible mod-tailored blazers. My absolute faves of the collection however is worn by Chanel Iman, which is a nautical blue sailboat print dress that is accompanied by matching espadrilles and dime pouch clutch. And Kasia Struss who wears a khaki colored one-piece that reminds you of feminine chic that swallowed Old Hollywood style.
