I'd take this bag in red!
Ok, this is just a super-sexy top.

Would someone please tell me why they chose to start Fashion Week on the Last Day of the week? And of course I'm going to ask WHY Friday the 13th? I mean it's a lucky day for some but given the current state of the economy I wouldn't want to chance ANYTHING. At any rate while we don't have a full house this year, we do have a reasonable line up. The schedule for today is:

Just want to focus on dresses today. This first dress wouldn't appear to be sweater material but it is. It qualifies as an innovative yet cute little entry into Spring 2009.

Just a reminder.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion week, February 13th-20th, 2009. Showing the Fall 2009 Collections is upon us.
So sit back, relax, and let the skilled couturiers take you to a fantasy land filled with all the fashion you can possibly stand.
Regardless to whether or not the show will be as large as it once was we have to commend the couturiers that did opt to show up because at this point and time we do all desperately need a distraction.

Love, this shoe! It's got a zipper on the heel. The little asymmetrical design got me hooked!

As layoffs continue to rock the publishing industry, some highly-regarded fashion reporters are finding themselves suddenly unemployed. The Wall Street Journal has closed its fashion bureau. While Christina Binkley and Lisa Bannon will stay on board, the desk's remaining 8 staff members including Teri Agins and Cheryl Tan have been let go, effective at the end of March. At that time, they will be invited to reapply for 3 open positions at the paper and the remaining 5 will leave the company. "We are closing our fashion bureau but will continue to cover fashion and retail by reassigning some but not all of our current staff," confirmed a Dow Jones spokesperson. It remains to be seen which members will be covering the upcoming round of shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan.
