Ok, you're right I'm just hopelessly hooked on handbags. It's better than some habits!
Guess I sort of got hooked on this color scheme.

It's Carolina Herrera whose dresses I just can't get enough of. For Spring 2009 she proved once again that she is the belle of the ball. Her collection is absolutely exquisite. It's designers like her that help me keep my love for dresses!

She was not afraid of color either, the reds, the blues, the yellows, the dresses! They are all just so pretty. I really did not see one that I did not like.

Zac Posen didn't disappoint for his Spring 2009 Collection. On September 11th, he gathered a plethora of browns, greys, blacks, and animal prints into a feast for your eyes. His dresses were short, long, loose and tight. All very appropriate for the Spring 2009 Season. I am a dress lover by nature and sometimes I think by right! Zac Posen just made me want to take his entire collection and just hide it from anyone else. From his two-tone beige mini dress to his black pant suit, to the ever so clever long leopard print dress. Some of my favs are pictured below. You can see the entire collection at Style.com.

Wait until you see the entire line, it's magnificent! Pretty dresses---that's enough to keep me satisfied for years to come.

It's getting a little chilly out there and believe me I'm gonna need a preferably stylish, definitely warm coat like this one by Vanessa Bruno Athe.

Marchesa's Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig first came to the fashion world's attention dressing starlets for the red carpet. True to their game, this season's dresses were just spectacular. All I can really say about this collection is that if you are a dress-lover (as I am) you'll see why I'm in pure unadulterated bliss! You can go to Style.com to see the full collection. While you're there just check out their collection for Spring 2007. In my opinion it's the only collection that even compares to this season's in terms of elegance. Marchesa---You want to watch these talented designers!

Simply Beautiful dresses! I hope they keep their inspiration forever!Posted by truthis at 3:43 PM 0 comments

Less than a year after it agreed an exclusive strategic alliance with Macy's, Tommy Hilfiger has now rolled out the sportswear line that the department store retailer will sell exclusively in the US. Both companies see the deal as a win-win situation, with Macy's hoping the well-known brand will draw customers into its stores and set it apart from its rivals, and Tommy Hilfiger relishing the chance to focus its wholesale team on one nationwide account and garner increased exposure in the retailer's 800 stores. Like many department stores, Macy's is struggling to gain momentum as consumers cut back on apparel and other discretionary items amid rising food and fuel prices and the ongoing housing slump. First-half profits plummeted as the company bore the brunt of charges of consolidating its three divisions under a reorganisation plan announced in February, while first-half same-store sales fell 2.2%. But Macy's says it continues to out-perform "most of our major competitors in same-store sales" – and is clearly hoping that exclusive lines from high-profile designers like Hilfiger (deals are already in place with the likes of Elie Tahari and Oscar de la Renta) will give it the boost it needs. It's also a touch ironic that its possible saviour, Tommy Hilfier, was itself languishing in the doldrums not so long ago, after struggling to realign itself into more sophisticated, pricier markets. Now, though, it's setting itself up for global expansion after posting a record 23.9% hike in full year earnings in June on a 14.4% jump in sales. What a difference three years make.
